Has been running in Class 2 all year & won one at york beating orientor getting a topspeed rating of 99 that day & an RPR of 99. Of its opponents only Viewforth has reached a rating in the 90's & his best form is seen on scottish tracks. Should be a 4L winner with ease this one. However, he carries a 6lb penalty for that success(a full 11lbs when accounting for the 5lb claimer onboard Bold Marc) and we could see the selection go one better this afternoon with the weights firmly in his favour. Horse: Trinculo Course: CATTERICK Time: 3.30 Dual C&D winner TRINCULO won a similar event here when last seen back in August off a mark of 92, is down to a mark of 90 for this race .He has a 100% record at this course wining 2/2 races over this trip. Bold Marc as Carl said has thewieghts in his favour. Him and Countdown are the only 2 with any recent form, and from the past its clear that Bold Marc can handle these tesrting soggy conditions much better than its closest competitor. Could be banker material.... 2:00 - Retaliate Did well last time out when it stepped up to this class. Retaliate should be able to take this with just a little bit of improvement, the info on the jockey is interesting too. His rivals are better off today, but his draw is satisfactory, if not ideal, with his front running style suiting this course. Should go close again, now he has regained some form.
