Re: Lingfield 21/10 500 Lingfield - Smokey Oakey 5pts ew @ 11/1 VC BET A wide open race in which Smokey can run into a place at least. Won well 2 runs ago at Ayr, by 3 1/2 lengths, he was beaten into 9th off a revised rating next time out, only beaten 3 lengths though. One of my favourite amateurs takes the ride today and will take off a valuable 7lb's, which will help no end. His only run on this surface was an encouraging 2nd over a furlong shorter than today.
