Been watching PNL for about the last month most nights, and have noticed they seem to have alot of the same faces making the final tables of the mtts cartoonhead and johan the main names that spring to mind, just wandering what sites/network the tv tables are on i know 32 red is obviously one just wandering if u know of any that may accept debit card GAF. And also given your experiance how hard is it to get in the beat the presenter is it a case of them choosing a table that u happen too sat waiting at to begin or is it advertised in the lobby and a case of 1st come 1st served, well done other night too Gaf although i only tuned in 2 hands before u went out, saw the mighty telepe and by the time id switched from FM07 demo too PL u had gone was it in 5th? Yes it is often the same names on the games - unfortunely they do monopolise the tables a bit and it can be difficult to get in (they are there every night, so know exactly the timing) For Beat the presenter, they choose a random TV table (often the deeper stacked ones - 2000 instead of 1000 chips) towards the end of the break between about 21:55 and 22:00 (though they do vary it to throw people off...... 68allin Posted October 17, 2006 Share Posted October 17, 2006 Re: Poker Night Live with Phil Laak Im going to set sky+ to record the repeat tommorrow, as ive got to say Phil 'unibomber' Laak along with Tony G were the 1st stars of poker i can remmember watching, only about 3 years ago mind u (too much schmokin plays havoc with memory) it was there characters that intreaged me more so than the game itself the way the unibomber was basicly lying on table just to see the river before anyone else and the way tony can go from looking like a childish amatuer to absolute ledge with a few choice sentances and a couple of nice hands! Now its all about Negreanu, Hellmuth and Mattusow as far as entertainment and personalities go IMO oh and obviosly Ms mercier (never realised how sexy hands could be :tongue2) the rest of here to bad either! ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
