The Quiet Man
Hi, I wonder if anyone gan advise me on the best 'way forward' for the following 2 scenarios. 1. Betway - deposited $20 by Netteller around 3 weeks ago, funds are now over $400 but when I go to the Cashier it states that 'I have insufficient funds' available to withdraw even though it shows my current balance. I've a feeling this may be like Europokers T & C's and I may have to play a million raked hands to release the money. 2. Absolute Poker - Deposited $20 by Netteller on Saturday for the Forum matches. I've no intention of playing there again but when I try to withdraw my remaining $14.50 it states that the minimum withdrawal is $50!!:wall Has anyone managed to get round these restrictions in a crafty but legal way? :hope Cheers :ok TQM

alex_theBoss_ross
Re: Advice on withdrawing winnings hmm, a shady way around this would be to dump to one of your poker buddiess who can actually withdraw on the sites in question (e.g. play hu for 400bucks) then get them to dump back to you on another site on which you can withdraw. if you have 400bucks in 1 acct surely 20 mins on a cash table will sort you out (play 3x .5/10 tables for example?) without jeopardising your stack...:hope I hate these fking sites that will let u deposit but won't let u withdraw until you stand on one foot with one arm on behind your back, while on a pogostick in outer space.:puke - but hey- at least they aint goalPoker - the worst poker room in the universe. Disclaimer: I of course am not suggesting that anybody dumps chips to their pals' accounts - this post was for informational purposes only........... McGoatski
Re: Advice on withdrawing winnings I`ve made 2 withdrawals from Betway to my Neteller account, one of $49 and one of only $20. Didn`t have any problems with minimum amounts or owt.
SpurMan
Re: Advice on withdrawing winnings Made two withdrawals from Betway, both $20, and only one deposit. All sitting nicely in Neteller no problem. Can you withdraw in smaller amounts?

But Absolute told me the same thing... 1 of many reasons why I don't play there anymore...
The Quiet Man
Re: Advice on withdrawing winnings Thanks for the good advice as usual. :ok Not sure about the Betway but in the past when I want to withdraw and have less than the minimum I deposit up to say $55 then a couple of days later withdraw the lot. :ok Took Gal's advice and chucked another $40 into Absolute - should be able to withdraw $54.50 in 48 hours, cheers!! :ok Most of my Betway winnings have come out of Freerolls so there's probably a mimimum amount of raked hands to release that - I'll look into it soon! (liked Alex's 'informative post' too):lol Thanks again. TQM
slapdash
Re: Advice on withdrawing winnings Actually, so long as you did this playing heads-up, I can't really see any ethical objection to it. But it seems better to find a way of getting the money without paying a rake on it. hmm' date=' a [b']shady way around this would be to dump to one of your poker buddiess who can actually withdraw on the sites in question (e.g. play hu for 400bucks) then get them to dump back to you on another site on which you can withdraw. if you have 400bucks in 1 acct surely 20 mins on a cash table will sort you out (play 3x .5/10 tables for example?) without jeopardising your stack...:hope I hate these fking sites that will let u deposit but won't let u withdraw until you stand on one foot with one arm on behind your back, while on a pogostick in outer space.:puke - but hey- at least they aint goalPoker - the worst poker room in the universe. The Quiet Man
Re: Advice on withdrawing winnings Managed to crack the withdrawal problem at Betway even though they haven't replied to the e-mail I sent them last night. For anyone else in the same boat here's what to do - Got to www.betway.com and log in Go to 'my account' Go to 'Transfer' and transfer the money 'from poker' - this goes into the sportsbook site account. You can now make a withdrawal from the sportsbook site!! :ok Ever get the impression they don't want you to win? :lol TQM
