Re: Perth 20/9 From Twiston Davies web page We kick off with Dark Corner in the opening 2.20 race, a Maiden Hurdle over 2m 4 1/2f.. Dark Corner has fair NH flat form including a win at Chepstow and did runner in the Festival Bumper. This is his hurdles debut amongst lesser lights. He will probably go off favourite and it would be disappointing if he wasn't there challenging at the end. Finally we run Bob The Builder in closing handicap hurdle over 3m 1/2f at 5.15. Bob gave us some nice wins in novice chases last season and stepping back over hurdles, looks to have a favourites chance here. He carries a lower weight over the smaller obstacles than he would now over fences and we would expect to go close today, if not winning! he talks the other down but expects to get something today.
