Complete Novice. Would like to learn though

can any advise where i may learn the ropes, e.g the jargon, different games, rules, betting tactics etc. never played in me life. feel free to pm me (please) any recommendations for sites or threads to check out would be much appreciated.

Would like to learn though play for free first to get the hang of the game mate - i think holdempoker.com still gives you playmoney which you can play against others with playmoney too, so its not costing you anything. also keep an eye on these threads in order to keep a track on the freerolls.
