If a horse has to carry an extra 6 lbs or whatever is this included in their weight on a racecard. For example what weight does CELTIC SPA run off of -

Re: Extra weight I hope I got this right or I've made myself look a plonker: 10-3 is the weight for the race based on it's current rating. (ex6) tells you it is carrying a 6lb penalty. In other words, it hasn't been reassessed since winning and therefore carries extra weight. You also have the jockey with 7lb claim, so it is actually carry 1lb less!
