arfurdaley
Hi all, been reading through this excellent site and picked up a lot of interesting ideas. Now that the football season is upon us I was wondering if any of you price up football matches according to your estimations. Just wondering what data is used and how you can convert this to a percentage chance of an event happening. I'd imagine you would take into account the following for each side. Overall games won, lost and drawn at home/away, goals scored at home/away, goals conceded at home/away. Head2Head records for the last 4 seasons. Also scrutinise both side more recent home and away form (last 6 games or so) Would you then rate each side based on the data by giving them a numerical score.:unsure Any advice on the subject or links to articles would be great. (Not looking forr anyones secrets cos I know how much work people put into developing things like this, just a point in the right direction) Cheers:ok
