We have been married 38 years we don't celebrate it never have not after the first one. not even a card if we could stop in bed and not get up around this time we would. Bad things happen not joking - bad things do happen. every year without fail :cry like the first anniversary my German Shepherd Sasha had had an operation a few days before. she still lived with my parents up at the shop. We had gone home and were having a romantic tea ( like you do ;) ) phone call to tell me her stitches had burst and all her guts had come out. She survived it but it spoilt the day. since then straight up something bad has happened each year about this time.
