David Sklansky gets out of bed the wrong side

I've been reading Sklansky's "Tournament Poker for Advanced Players". Some interesting stuff to think about regarding general tournament strategy, mostly not specifically no-limit hold 'em. But that's not why I brought it up ... On page 67: "If you don't know what that means, you are not ready for this book." OK, thanks for letting me know, David. I do know what it means, by the way, so can I carry on reading? And then, on page 124: "If you don't know how I got that, stop reading this book right now. You are not ready for it. You don't know enough about poker. And, you deserve to lose." WTF!!!! :loon

Re: David Sklansky gets out of bed the wrong side I remember reading that section and being in stitches :D Was also aware while reading it that while Sklansky is a very bright and likable guy, and probably an excellent cash player - he totally blows at tournaments. I'm not sure that he's qualified to write that book.
