It is I'm afraid - have included it for the "novelty" value of a HORSE tournament - I suspect a few here may be interested - certainly agree noone should bother playing for the money...... Morl - will reply about SO CL in other thread ;) Tax - cheers mate - just checking now :ok I looked at the qualifying times last week - and took a flier that they would be the same - may have come unstuck.....

GaF? I can't see a satellite to the $100K qualifer on Goalpoker at 18.40 BST the closet I can see is one at 16.40 ET which would be 21.40 BST?
It's there - at 13:40 EST (18:40 BST) - tourney 1151406 - is at the bottom because it's "announced" and not registering yet :ok Registration opens at 15:40 BST

How are HORSE tournaments played? What are the rules? Players buyin to the tournament in the usual way, and the game begins as Hold'em. At set intervals, the game changes to the next poker variation. The intervals can be done each time the blinds increase, with each rotation of the dealer chip, or something entirely different. The timing is completely up to the tournament director who creates the rules. The game continues to change throughout the tournament, following the progressions until we are left with one man standing...or sitting...with all the chips and wads of cash in front of him. :ok

That's not right GaF?. The tournnament ended (legimately) while you were in 1st place therefore you should award yourself the points for being 1st.

Re: **Poker Tuesday 11th July** Not that I have any problem with GaF getting points for 1st - seems fair reward if only for the work he does doing all the tables etc :) But wouldn't there be a problem with it even if it had run on? The other two guys are just gonna push in on every hand or sit out, and consider the tournament over anyway right? The best way to award points for a satellite would prob be to consider 1-3 joint 1st, so knock 2 of the number of entrants and consider 4th as 2nd etc.

Re: **Poker Tuesday 11th July** Cheers guys - but I wouldn't give anyone else a higher finish than they achieved, so I certainly wont give it to myself - 3rd it is :ok I see your point guess - but don't want to make this any more complicated - my argument is that it would be the same for everyone - so long as it is a level playing field, it doesn't matter too much if it's not quite perfect..... Will probably avoid satellites in future now though.....
