Cloud
You ever played a poker tournament when you suddenly realise that if you get to the end - you won't be able to play. I entered a $20 freezeout today - started at 1.20pm - and 10 minutes before the start there were around 40 registered. I knew I had to go out at 5.00, but I thought it would be OK. Anyway they got 230 entrants and 10 minutes ago I was sat at the final table - middle sized stack. I knew I had to be aggressive, but in doing so - I went out in 10th - when a solid top 5 should have been mine or more. First prize was over $1K as well. I had actually written out instructions for my wife - who has never played poker before, if I was still in after 5. A very basic all-in or fold strategy. Now that would have been funny :lol . Chewie2000
Re: Poker in a Hurry Quite similar experience when doing the "one last SnG" at 1am in the morning. $20 27 seat SnG, sitting pretty after an hour then nods off to wake up to my last hand being blinded away ........zzzzzzz...... doh! :$
