Musselburghs looks abit trappy today,and the placepot could pay. The races are as follows,Going is Good/Firm 2.40 Looks very trappy an 8 runner 5f maiden,with only two of the field with previous outings,Bold Mark beaten a length on he's debut will possibly go off fav but that was on G/S. 3.10 1m h/cap 6 runners 3.40 2m affair with 11 runners 4.10 7f 7 runners 4.40 1m 1f with 11 runners one of which is Mister Marvel who will go off favourite in this maiden event after finishing behind Gatwick (bought for 10,000 guineas) from M.Channon yard at donny,not to sure how good that form is as Gatwick was beaten in a low grade event at Nottingham on he's debut. Ideas anyone :thinker

Re: Musselburgh Placepot (ideas welcome) 2.40 Bold Mark will go off short as you say but the ground should not suit..Brut looks one to miss out in this race. Forfeiter trained by T.D Barron who has excellent results with first timers and the jockey booking of Kevin Darley looks promising. The value could be with Steal the thunder or Right price premier. A very tough race to call but my money would be reluctantly on FORFEITER. 3.10 Again a very tough race to call but the fav Sarraaf beat Queen Charlotte by nearly 10L in Sep 03 but then again was beat by a 50/1 shot at Catterick so there could easily be a reverse of form with Queen Charlotte who at 4/1 is not a bad price and the ground should suit. 3.40 The nap is Ocean Tide here and it has pretty solid form although the booking of Darryll Holland on board Gracilis looks good Ocean Tide should do it here !!...hopefully! 4.10 No Grouse could go well at a price here if you look back in form it won twice last year on gd/frm ground over 6 + 7 F. If theres no support in the market for it then its a 2 horse race in my opinion between What a Dancer + Flint River and id go with Flint River. 4.40 Master Marvel all the way here if everything goes well take a look at the RP selection box i think that speaks for itself. Mark Johnston has won the race 2 out of the last 3 years so he knows what it takes. Master Marvel was only a 20-1 shot when beat by Gatwick.
