bowles10
it always plays a part on the straight course over 5f - 1m. how will it play tomorrow?? will the new course that's been laid have any difference?? normally you would go low. If you choose that route then i think you back those drawn 1-7 over 5F & leave the rest behind. Not worth having a bet until we see it for ourselves, but the Hunt Cup on Wednesday is the 1st race i'll have a go.
Tank Maestro
Re: Effect of the Draw at Ascot Course may also not be as stiff as it used to be, I am hoping there is no draw at advantage for my pick, or at least it has been toned down a bit. bowles10
Re: Effect of the Draw at Ascot 1st race 5f (21 ran) 6,2,15,18,20 2nd race 5 (28 ran) 17,12,5,9,22 last race 5f (18 ran) 15,2,4,11,3 not really that conclusive, however the 2yo races could probably be discounted but the kings stand had plenty of pace far side & the highest placed waas 5th drawn 22. The winner in 17 came down the near side after tracking across. the hunt cup will be interesting.
