Connection Problems

Came 10th tonight, winning $20, in the Poker Player PokerRoom Team Challenge freeroll. I should have done better having had connection problems from 10 minutes before the first break when I was lying 6th. Was let back in to fold a couple of hands and disconned again when 11th of 20. Was let back in 10 mins later to find I was now 11th of 11 but with at least 5k less in chips. Won one hand pairing a 10, and then checked from the BB with 10 6 suited and flopped 2 pair so raised 6k of 16k 2 seconds before disconned again. Was 10 minutes more delay wondering if had been called or raised and unable to respond, wishing I had gone all-in !!!! When let back in I was on the final table holding 10 10 so had to go all-in while I could and got beat by AA. 10th was at least $20 better than nothing but I reckon I was good for at least 4th which was $100 (and 1st was $300). 2 questions ......... 1. has anyone tried to claim compensation from their ISP in similar circumstances or heard of anyone trying ? 2. we use BT Yahoo (so not the cheapest) and although it hasn't happened for a while we have had connection problems before. Can anyone recommend their own ISP on the basis they have never (or not say in the last 6 months) been disconnected for more than a few seconds ? :unsure
