Far more passive than normal from me on the flop, as most times I'd have bet here to see if I could take down the pot cheaply, but decided to check. 4 comes on the turn and he bets, leaving me needing to throw in 60 chips to win 100... consider it, but behind any pocket pair, most A's, and any J, 9, 6, or 4 (since he was in the small blind so could have had pretty much anything) decided I'd leave it for now. Too passive? This is the first hand I'd have played differently, looking back.

Re: Poker Night Live Hand Analysis - Hands 9 - 12 Yeah - I'd have usually played it more aggressively. (though maybe not with the blinds so low) It was effectively Heads Up and A high is a strong hand - shouldn't be giving him a free flop IMO.... YOu have position post flop, which is an argument for flat calling, but you then didn't try and use that position post flop. His bet post turn could easily be a "steal" having seen no strength from you so far.....but he could have hit too - he could have anything. The best argument for the passivity here though is - how much do you push to win 20 chips? At this stage of the tourney, I've no problems with letting hands go.......

Re: Poker Night Live Hand Analysis - Hands 9 - 12 check/fold easy really, as you can't win a tourney this early but can lose it - why raise with the blinds so low with an Ace only - thats all you have - take the cheap flop and hope to hit something Just my thoughts Damo

Yeah - I'd have usually played it more aggressively. (though maybe not with the blinds so low)
