Tulenos
The final series starts tonight and will clash woth the footy WC which is a bit of a pity, but unfortunately the timing is not right even in the States. Edmonton dogs for the series and the first game, but once again, as they are best off on the road, 2.25 on ML for their win in game one looks a decent bet. Moreover, their legs are fresher as they took care of the Ducks much quicker than the Canes in their own conference final. The over also not out of question.;)
Tulenos
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Overs in, Edmonton just edged out by the Canes with a little over 30 seconds left despite outshooting them 36-28 in G1:(
Rob the I ty
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Not to mention losing Roloson a Conn Smythe candidate. The Oilers can still take the series but losing their #1 goalie and then coughing up the game with 30 seconds might too much to overcome. In 1992 the Peguins were down 3 goals to Chicago only to come back and have Lemieux score the winner with 10 seconds left in Game 1. The Pens went on to win the next 3 for the sweep. Tulenos
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Huh - Edmonton in trouble. Not only lost game two, but were beaten big time and Carolina's rookie goalie also earned a shutout.
TheRat
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Short Handed Goal in overtime to keep the Oilers hopes alive!!!! What a game - I got a feeling it will go to the last game
Tulenos
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Not that sure if Edmonton can nick the next one - and if I remember well, onlz one team in the whole NHL history - Mtl in 1964 - came back from 1-3 to win the series and the cup. Carolina looking better in all departments in the series so far.
TheRat
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Dunno about winning the Cup - but think they may win the next one Who knows! I haven't even had a bet on the NHL for a while!
TheRat
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Canes battered last night to take it to a decider. After that I would not be surprised to see a Oilers win
Tulenos
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Hmm... took me by surprise a bit, tbh - they looked like cruising it two games ago, though the loss would have been their wake up call and yet it didn't work. Momentum defo with the Oilers now, but the overall winner is anyone's guess. If under 5.5 is available @ evs+ again, that would be the only call I would make;)
Tulenos
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Game 7 on tonight - Carolina should win it but they are way too short, Edmonton have all the momentum but are playing against all kinds of trends. Hmm, will be interesting viewing at least, I hope.;)

Rob the I ty
Re: NHL Finals - Edmonton v Carolina (best of 7) Damn Whalers! Oilers showed alot of heart and were the better team. Unfortunatly the breaks didn't go their way especially Games 1 & 4. Give the Canes credit, they looked dead in the water here in Montreal but calls went their way and Brind'Amour, Staal and Ward gave the team a wake up call and it carried over till they lifted Lord Stanley's mug. Calgary and Edmonton were 2 cities well deserving of the Cup but both fall one game short so rednecks from the south can enjoy the Cup for a day or two, damn.
