What does 'Each Way' and 'Place' mean? Not much football these days, so I started following your tips :ok

Re: Explanation Each way - a bet you'd place with your traditional bookmakers, 2 parts to the bet, a win and a place bet If horse wins you win your win bet AND your place bet (a win counts as a place) If horse finishes 2nd,3rd or 4th depending on the type of race you're in and number of runners, your horse has placed. You lose your win bet but win your place bet. Place - a single bet you'd get on the exchanges, horse finishes 1st,2nd,3rd or 4th depending on race type and number of runners, you win your solitary place bet. Danny
