ReasoningDennis Priestley is going through a bit of a resurgance in his career. In the last 12 months he has been toe to toe with Taylor in the World Matchplay, a semi finalist in the World Grand Prix and has also gone toe to toe with Taylor's protegy Adrian Lewis at the World Championships and since then has won the Players Championship and the Vauxhall holiday 128+ Classic. Here he's not in Taylor's half of the draw and in his half one of Lloyd or Lewis has to bite the dust as early as the 2nd round and with no Barney in this event either 20/1 is a good looking price on the menace.

ReasoningThis is an amazing price for someone John Part's class and ability. Hard to know what John Part's form is like going into this because he hasn't played many PDC tournaments since the World Championship but there are few more confident players than John Part around the PDC scene. I'm not too worried about his lack of PDC tournaments because I remember reading an interview last year where he said he would be more selective in tournaments so that he could peak for majors. One thing that is for sure though is his record speaks for itself and although he's in Taylor's half of the draw I'm still going to take a shot with him because he is one of very few players who knows they can beat Taylor, who himself has looked a bit below his best recently. With this tournament being held in America, this may help Part a lot more as he'd have less travelling to do and I still expect a good run from the Canadian here.
