jeffster
The "Cat Luck Club" (http://www.catluck.co.uk) opened on Friday, as advertised in Poker Europa, and is on the Catford / Lewisham Border.
Sir Puntalot
Re: New card room in Catford, South East London.... There seems a distinct lack of places to play live holdem in London - you know of a list of them anywhere Jeff?
Valiant23
Re: New card room in Catford, South East London.... stereoman
Re: New card room in Catford, South East London.... ....before we start listing every single new casino that's going to open, any word on the new Stanley one that's replacing Creation nightclub in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent? Y'know the one near the Grosvenor one? Seems silly to have two casinos open so near to each other. I hear there isn't going to be a card room for this one! :eek :eyes

ubermonkey1
Re: New card room in Catford, South East London.... im very suprised by the goverment not making its bit of money from the rise in poker ,they could offer reasonably priced licenses to smaller card rooms that can only handle small medium priced games say up to £100 . as it is there are loads of small ones without licenses that are very well run, my local one and the gutshot are two i now of . they will have to think of some way to get people back into pubs once the smoking ban kicks in:dude

There seems a distinct lack of places to play live holdem in London - you know of a list of them anywhere Jeff? Paul, the only places I know of are the Gutshot, Western, and now the Cat Luck... Have you PMed "Dacey", as Rick should have some info on any other rooms...When Poker Player mag. came to play Guerilla Poker in Bristol, Rick told me he was a member of the London Poker Meetup Group, which is run by a guy called Vincent Boone. While the LPMG may concentrate on home games, they should know if they are any more venues around in London...
