rosco
Got this e-mail from Full tilt poker, looking at the terms and you get points from playing tournements and sng's. a $1 reg fee gets you 1 point. Which is the equivelant of playing 50 £10 tournements a day. Isnt that a little ambitious?? anyway details below for the hardcore player Iron Man Challenge Dedication. It's when players hit the table everyday. They're tough to beat, because they've stared across miles of felt and flipped over thousands of cards. There's also another type of dedication, which is when you show your appreciation for a special group of people. That's the goal of our new Iron Man Challenge - to reward our most loyal players, and give them a chance to play like, and potentially against, the pros at Full Tilt Poker for up to $100,000. Starting April 1st, put in your time throughout the month and we'll reward your dedication by placing you in one of four monthly Freeroll tournaments. The more you play, the more money you'll get to compete for at the end of the month. Win your Freeroll, and you'll advance to a four-player Sit & Go where the winner will take home the entire prize pool and earn the chance to play three of our Full Tilt Poker pros heads up for a chance at an additional $100,000*. To earn your seat at one of our Freerolls, simply start playing in any of our ring games or tournaments in order to earn Full Tilt Poker Points. Play for a minimum of 15 days throughout the month and you could qualify for either our Bronze $10K Freeroll or our Silver $15K Freeroll, depending on how many points you earn each day. Play for more days and more points throughout the month and you could earn a seat in our Gold $20K Freeroll or our Iron Man $30K Freeroll. For example, if you earn as few as 50 points per day for 20 days in April, you'll be automatically entered into our Bronze Man $10K Freeroll in May. Earn 100 points per day for the same period, and we'll automatically enter you in our Silver Man $15K Freeroll. Look at the chart above to see our full list of Freerolls and their associated entry requirements Once you take your seat in your Freeroll tournament, you'll be playing for the first-place prize money and the chance to play each of the other three Freeroll champions in a four-player Sit & Go tournament where the winner will walk away with an additional $5K. What's more, the winner of the Sit & Go tournament will go on to play three of our red Full Tilt Poker pros in consecutive heads-up matches. Beat one pro, and we'll give you $5,000 on top of your previous winnings. Beat two pros, and we'll give you $10,000. If you are a Bronze, Silver or Gold Freeroll winner and beat all three, we'll give you $50,000. But, if you are the winner of the Iron Man Freeroll and scoop all three matches, we'll give you an extra $50,000 for a total of $100,000! Qualifying for these Freerolls begins at 12 Midnight ET on April 1st and runs through 11:59PM ET on April 30th. Our Freeroll tournaments will be held at 4:30PM ET on Saturday, May 6th, and our four-player Sit & Go tournament will take place at 4:30PM ET on Sunday, May 7th. The winner of that tournament will then play three of Full Tilt Poker's red pros in consecutive heads-up matches beginning at 4:30PM ET on Saturday, May 13th. To keep track of your progress, you can click on the "Iron Man Status" link in the Cashier of our game. Start playing today and see if you have what it takes to become a Full Tilt Poker Iron Man. *For more information on the Iron Man Challenge, see our rules. guesswest
Re: Fult Tilt Iron Man That's a pretty good promo, but the standards very high on FT, if I'm putting in that many hours I'd much prefer to do it somewhere with a weaker game.....
