TazaD
Miami -7.5 League: 3-14-1 (av. loss 16.9) any away dog, no rest off a 10- ats win as a home fav, if opp was last a 10+ fav. [indi] Exactly the same spot that Denver were in when they lost to Phoenix the other day. This one is a little tougher to take, because Miami haven't exactly been the punters friend lately, but really Indi sholdn't be able to score enough to stick with them here. They av. just 91.1 on the road, 85.6 in their last 5 and haven't score 100 in their last 15! Miami on the other hand have scored 100+ in 12 of their last 14 and av. 103.5 for the season... ...Indi are just 1-9 ats when allowing 100+ on the road. Utah v. NO over 183 NO have had a horrible stretch of games on the road lately which has forced this total too low. In their last 11 away games they have played 4 of the top 5 D's in the league!! They av'd just 76 ppg in those 4 games (SA, Chic, LAC, Indi). ...but in the other 7 they have scored 104 @ Seattle, 88 @ Portland, 100 @ Utah, 91 @ NJ, 95 @ Memphis & 94 @ LAL today. (Av. 96) 8 of the last 11 of Utah's home games have been over this number, and the first meeting in Utah was 95-100 a month ago. The first meeting of the season (@ NO) was 76-82 which is also a reason why this line is so low...but in that game West was out for NO (leading scorer) also Claxton and P.J. Brown, so plenty of scoring was missing for NO. (Also West was out for the game @ Indi when they scored just 75.)
