Fading for long term profits?

Not so sure if it can work, this fading the public thing. I will post a tracked record here starting with the next available play based on the fading strategy. Plays will involve most US sports and European soccer. Starting units= 100 Stake per play= 5 units (Is this too much???) I need some opinions from you experts here. I will only do this on paper tracking for the time being :dude

Re: Fading for long term profits? Fading is betting against the public. If there are a vast majority of bets (probably 70-30) coming in on a particular team, then betting on the other would be known as fading.

Re: Fading for long term profits? Not really long shots as I will be getting on those plays based on the spread or handicap. Thanks for the suggestions though. I will look into adjusting the stakes after paper tracking for a while :D

Re: Fading for long term profits? Have seen this approach in NHL several times and that's to say it never delivered. Best of luck as there is something in opposing Joe Punters, but it's to be seen whether the combination of several sports/leagues can work;)
