bowles10 Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 BONGO FURY currently 25/1 with Skybet. The horse has ran 5 times at Sandown finishing 1-2-1-9-1. When it finished 9th it was trying to lump 11st 8lb round on G/S going. It has won on G/s, soft (twice) & finished 2nd in heavy going. Not seen out since April when finishing 5th off a career high mark at Ayr. Previous to that flopped at Cheltenham in last years county hurdle despite going off 8/1 2nd fav. The ground was miles too fast that day & the race that interests me was the Totesport Hurdle at Newbury last feb when it finished 2nd to Essex. Ok, it was getting plenty of weight that day but still finished in front of Al Eile, Power Elite & Idole first. Will be running off 11st 1lb on saturday & a mark of 132. With the ground in its favour, i think it could run a big race for Pipe & i hope he gets young Jamie Moore to ride it! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
