Euro hockey 9/3

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, not so new here, but I didn't post at all. Paul Ross invited me here( :ok ), so hopefully my previews will be usefull, although Czech Extraliga is weird these days :) Also, I'll write some previews for Croatian football league also. For start here's match I've chosen today: Chemopetrol Litvinov - Energie Karlovy Vary Quite interesting match I'd say, also a tough one to call. Another derby match. Why am I taking this one? Litvinov does not have a win over KV in regular time for over 5 years(!). They last defeated KV on 15.10.2000., while they managed to defeat them in extra time in season 03/04. Both teams lost some good players after being without chances for play-offs. Although they were replaced with juniors both teams showed more or less good performances. In last three KV defeated Liberec & Trinec at home and drew away at Vsetin. Litvinov has two wins, over CB away, then against Slavia at home, while they lost their last match away against Liberec 3:1. While KV is fixed on the 10th place, Litvinov would like to overtake Plzen's 11th spot. Also Litvinov's management made a popular move for the fans giving them free entrance for standing tribune whilst tribunes with seats will cost only around 0.70€ icon_smile.gif Surely, Litvinov would like to give their fans a victory over their neighbours in a last match of this season. Home win, small stakes. 1 3/10 P.S. sorry, I don't know how to put those odds in a first post like in every thread, there's no explanation for it. Is that obligatory?

Re: Euro hockey 9/3 Nice write-up, Lancaster. And welcome aboard! :ok One interesting motivation bet today at Finnish SM-league. Kärpät-Ilves Kärpät has already won the regular season. Their only motivation is to maintain their good form to play-offs. There is four games still left before play-offs, so this one isn't actually very vital for Kärpät even in that meaning. Ilves on the other hand is fighting for being 6th and receiving sure place to actual play-offs. (7th-10th play against each other some kind of preplay-offs to have last two play-off spots) So, Ilves should be extremely motivated. In their last game against Saipa Ilves was 0-3 behind after first period, but they managed to make huge come back and they won the game 5-3. That might give them some extra confidence against Kärpät. Ilves has lost only 1 of their last 7 games and even if Kärpät is very hard to beat at their home rink (18-3-4) I think Ilves is worth trying today with that very huge odd. Ilves to beat Kärpät @ 5,9 @ Expekt, 1 pt Lay Kärpät against Ilves @ 1,65 @ Betfair, 1 pt
