ReasoningNow Irish form can be a bit dodgy, but Dalton made his career best last time in a 4yo Hurdle at Wexford beating Bob Hall by 3 lengths, and Bob Hall has gone on to beat Nicanor and the latter has since gone on to win in an absolute canter and is now 7-1 for the RSA Hurdle in 10 days time!, however I do think he is a bit of a dodgepot! So on a line of form Dalton has a good chance here. He also was 11 of 24 in the Fred Winter hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and in behind him were some decent horses. He doesn't look badly treated for this handicap hurdle today off 11-2 and Geraghty is on board so has a solid chance.

ReasoningHas a better chance than the odds suggest in my opinion. This is his seasonal chasing debut but definitely has a shout judged on last years chase form. Won the 30 runner Paddy Power chase at this course in December 04 and on his next start, a Grade 2 Novice Chase he was only beaten 2 lengths by Newmill who is a short as 20-1 for the Champion Chase in 10 days. He was 9/2 for the 4m1f Race at Cheltenham Festival last year, but didn't stay. Run adequately last time over hurdles behind Golden Cross, but wasn't given a hard time and finished 4th to suggest that was just a warm-up for his chasing season starting now. 2m5f looks like the ideal trip for him today, loves the course, Dwyer is on board.

Re: Leopardstown Sunday I'll keep an eye on those 2 bob, i was watching the coverage on Sky earlier & they showed the main ones in the betting for the 4.45. I cant see why the favourite is as short as it is. Lordofourown was impressive LTO & maybe could be a bit of value at 9/2. I will be laying the fav to get beat @ 1.80 betfair
