Lay the Fav during March (based on race TYPE)

Inspired by %man and Rooster, here is an idea I had a few months ago but never got around to testing. I was totally dedicated to my other horse race system but there are more advantages to this method.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

1. The system is based on laying favourites so the liabilty is less.

2. There are fewer bets so the bankroll required is less

3. There is more opportunity to physically lay the horses as there will be only 1 or 2 lays a day during the week.

4. It will be clear the night before racing, which races I will be dealing with.

Basically I want to employ a system that looks at the types of favourites that do badly during each month according to the type of race.

The only filter I shall include is that the horse cannot have run within 9 days as a general rule.

Results since 1997 for favourites running in:

Selling Stakes

Classified Stakes

Banded Stakes

Conditions Stakes

Listed races

Handicap Chases

NH Flat races

941 Bets, 255 Winning Favourites = 686 Winning Lays (72.9%)

17.1% Return (using Estimated Betfair Prices)

+160 points profit from 9 years = +17 points profit on average for March.

Every March since 1997 made a profit.

Official picks will appear on or before 1st March... :hope
