TazaD
Firstly, sorry Majid...I have been away for a little while...rarely play HT lines in NBA...love them in NFL, but they always seem to complicate things in the hoops! :lol (for me anyway!) Cleveland -9 League: 1-9 (Av. loss 19.7!) away 5+ dog, 3+ days rest off a 10- ats loss as home 5+ dog. [Orl] 3-12 (Av. loss 18.5) off any ats loss. Apparently time doesn't heal all wounds! The Cavs won the first meeting at home 102-84, grabbed 25 offensive boards to 11 and only hit 17-29 FT's. They are 10-2 when scoring 100+ at home...they av. 102.2 ppg on 3+ days rest and have topped 100 in 8 of the last 9 meetings. (Scored 99 in the other!) Cleveland have won the last 3 meetings by 18, 19 and 9...all things pointing to another big home win here. NO @ Indi under 183 Low-ish number but not quite low-ish enough imo! Indi games av. 175.0 on 3+ days rest (1-7 under), NO games av. 171.0 on 3+ days rest, both play great D, allowing just 83.6 and 81.7 ppg respectively! 5 of the last 7 Indi home games have gone under this number (one 'over' was 184), and they allow just 86.7 ppg at home and 83.6 in their last 5. The first meeting this season was 90-87, and the last 10 have been under this number, av. just 167.0!! Detroit v. Atlanta over 190.5 Detroit games av. 199.8 on 3+ days rest, they score 107.2 ppg themselves!...Atl games av. 211.0 on 3+ rest and allow 110.0!! The total is a bit low due to the Pistons playing 6 of their last 10 on the road, nad 3 of the last 4 at home have been against NJ, LAC & Minni, all of who are in the top 12 for points and FG% allowed. Atlanta allow 101.4 ppg @ 48.1%, both 3rd worst in the NBA, so scoring will be a lot easier in this one. 2 meetings this year (both in Atlanta) have been 99-98 and 89-117. The Pistons' will appreciate the break, and should really rack up some points in this game. 14 is a lot to cover, so I think the over is the better play. Charlotte +11 League: 13-3 (Av. loss 6.1) away 10+ dog, 3+ days off any ats win as home 5+ dog. [CBC] 8-1 (Av. loss 4.1) if opp is off any ats loss. Denver beat Dallas (who were in a tough spot), but besides that they have lost 7 of their last 10. They have won just 6 games all season by 11 or more...1 in their lsat 21, and none in the last 13!! Wallace back for Charlotte is a huge boost for them, and I don't think they will have any problems keeping this one close. Seattle @ SA over 195.5 League: 12-5-1 over (Av. total 192.2...av. score 197.0) home 10+ fav, 2+ days off a 10- ats loss as away 5+ fav. [sA] 8-2 over (Av. score 206.5!) if total is 190+ Both teams av. over 197 points on 3+ rest, SA score 105.8 ppg, which is by far their best production. Seattle's defense has gone from bad to worse this season, but they can score, being second only to Phoenix @ 101.9 ppg. The Sonics are 13-2 over when the total is in the 190's...I think the total is low here because 3 of their last 4 have gone 'under', but I think this is too much of an over-reaction in this spot.
