dontbegreat
02.07.2006 tips/results 02.08.2006 tips/results - New Jersey @ Boston | New Jersey | 1.86 (Pinnacle) Montreal @ Buffalo | Buffalo | 1.53 (BetFred) Atlanta @ Ottawa | Ottawa | 1.29 (Ladbrokes) Carolina @ Tampa Bay | Carolina | 2.00 (Bet365) Detroit @ Nashville | Detroit | 1.85 (Pinnacle) Colorado @ Minnesota | Colorado | 2.18 (Pinnacle) Dallas @ Phoenix | Dallas | 1.62 (Ladbrokes) Boston lost two games in a row before winning last night at Pittsburgh. New Jersey played well vs Tampa Bay on the 7th winning 7-4. Boston have played well since having rookie goaltender Tim Thomas began to be the starter. They are 8-2-3 since he took over. The Devils is still the better team here and I'm not going against them. I'm expecting them to end a 3 road-game losing streak tonight. Montreal lost the 1st of the h2h game in OT. They might want to play harder to get even from that. It's not going to happen. Ottawa lost last night and tonight is a perfect chance for Buffalo to continue the winning streak and get closer to Ottawa for the top palce in the Northeast Division. Ottawa is still winning and losing every other game. If that continues, tonights game should be a win. That's not the only reason for them to win tonight. They play an Atlanta team who's struggled just a little bit more than Ottawa from recent plays. Ottawa have two (2) more home games before the break and the next one is against Philadelphia. So, Ottawa to beat Atlanta before playing Philadelphia. Carolina @ Tampa Bay...Tampa plays alot better at home than the road and the same goes for Carolina. Carolina have been the better team and they would like to continue their momentum of good games before the Olympic break. The last time both played, Tampa Won 5-4 and that started a Carolina 3 game losing steak. That might not happen here as Carolina have the better squad going into this game ...just my opinion. Detroit/Nashville part 2...It's nice for a team to get a win against a team that previously defeated them. That's alot easier if it's against a team not named Detroit. Detroit will dominate this game just like last nights. Maybe Nashville's goalie can finally try to get things right again. But it's going to be tough trying to get things right against Detroit. Minnesota have a three (3) game win streak - thanks to San Jose, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. The last lost was @ Colorado...Colorado have an injury to deal with from Defenseman O. Vaananen - Colorado have won 3 out of 4 against Minnesota and the All-Time record vs Colorado shows a loss of 17 out of 25 games. Might not be easy to win for Colorado but I think they can steal another win against Minnesota. Dallas is still playing well and Phoenix might not win this game just because of what they have to ignore. I just can't see Phoenix winning this one. Phoenix have lost 4 out of the last 5 games they played. All at home. Dallas is well rested while Phoenix ... are just not good right now.
