Re: Golf - Buick International (Jan 26-29) 3 of the top 5 in the world miss out leaving Tiger Woods the clear favourite as usual. Vijay & Ernie are away in Qatar leaving the field fairly open here for each way players like myself. Chad Campell won last week but will do well to make it back to back. Tiger won last year for the 3rd time and will be the man to beat but if his driving accuracy is as poor as it was last season (188th) then he could struggle here to defend the title. John Daly can go close on his seasonal reappearance at huge odds but I'm plumping for Englishman Lke Donald who's game has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years and is a player of stature in the world game. His iron play is solid and his driving not spectacularly long is solid too. He's finished runner up here in the last 2 years proving he has a liking for the course and has the 2nd best average finish behing the mighty Tiger in 7.3 with another top 10 finish to go with his 2 runner ups.
