Orlando @ Detroit over 188 Even now, 2 full months into the season I don't think the books are getting this 'new' offensive Detroit team the scoring respect they deserve. Public perception is still one of a very much defensive, lock down team, but this season's Pistons are averaging 106.7 ppg on their home court!! (And allow 93.1 for a total av. of 199.8) They will be keen to bounce back offensively against a weak defensive team after being held to just 84 points @ 35.8% last game at Cleveland. All 4 meetings last season went over this number at an av. of 203 ppg. Orlando have scored 107, 105 & 108 in their last 3, and although they will no doubt find it tougher against the best team in the NBA, 90 should be more than enough to see this one sail over. Detroit are 6-1 over on the season as favs of 10 or more, and 7-2 over when the total is 185-190. Houston @ Washington over 191 League: 19-6 over (av. total 200...av. score 207.5) home 5+ fav off a 10+ ats loss as home 4- dog, if total is 190+. [Wash] 9-0 over (av. total 200.3...av. score 219.4!!!) if opp is off any ats loss. (15-2 over as any home fav) League: 18-5 over (Av. total 193.4...av. score 199.6) away 5+ dog, 2 days off a 10- ats loss as home 4- fav. [Houst] 9-2 over (9-1-1 this no...Av. total 193.9...av. score 202) if opp is off any ats loss. (9-0 since '98) Houston haven't been scoring much lately, but Washington home games av. 204.9 ppg....and even still, Houston have scored 86+ in 6 of their last 8 road games. Houston shoot the least amount of shots in the NBA,but will get dragged into the Wizzards pace in this one.

Re: NBA Jan. 4. haven't been doing nba analysis for some time . After seeing your posts on detroit , decided to place a bet on the over too . Looks good considering the fact detroit is a new look offensive team this season . Hope the magics can score more too tonight.
