Tell me what you guys think about it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Södertälje - Leksand Södertälje having a really hard time catching a break in this years Elitserien despite having a good team. Just in the last three games theyre coming off a 3-3 draw away against Djurgården (they had 3-2 with 50 sec to go), a 1-2 loss againsts strong Luleå at home, a 2-3 loss at home against the leader HV71 (Södertälje had a 2-0 lead in this game!). They have had some massive problems with injuries, all on important players like Boumedienne, Kopitar and Neckar. Left on this injury list is Neckar. After the last game against Luleå Södertälje had a meeting, I don´t know what was said there but i can imagine that people in high places are demanding some results from a team that has such capacity. OK, Luleå are damn good and 1-2 wasnt a big surprise but this time theyre facing Leksand at home. Leksand is as I have said before a hard working team without stars (although the team is called Leksand Stars!). Anyway, Leksand were lucky to get that 3-2 win against Timrå at home. Timrå fired 39 shots against Leksands 23 and Leksand scored the winning goal 3 min before the buzzer. Leksand are half decent this year at home but in the away games theyre completely under the ice. Away record is 1-2-10. Södertäljes home record 4-1-7. Not the best home record but if they surely must understand the importance of this game. These two teams have met two times before this season, 4-4 at Leksand and 2-1 at Södertälje. Considering the crisis meeting Södertälje had they must understand the magnitude of this game. Also the team has the capacity to win against most teams. Leksand have a lousy away record which means that this is the best chance yet for Södertälje to turn the trend. The odds on Bf is OK by my standard but not much value so its small to medium stakes on this one. Södertälje @ 1.80 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- OTHER GAMES: Frölunda-Mora Last time Mora visited they went home with one point. This might happen again but Frölunda surely psyched up after the humiliating loss against MODO 2-6. Frölunda huge favorites but the odds has no value at all. Djurgården-Brynäs Spent hours thinking wether i should pick Södertälje or Djurgården. Djurgården coming from impressive victory against Linköping (5-2!). However, Brynäs cant lose forever. This game will be an ugly one and might end in draw, Djurgården are very inconsistent. This game needs some further thinking... If DIF can play as they did in the last game dismissing Brynäs shouldnt be a problem at all. Think this odds is around 1.80 also. :hope

Both Djurgarden and Sodertalje are available @ 1.81 @ BDQ. Both look solid picks to me. Great to see you posting again, Bamse. Cheer up;)
Thanks Tulenos, glad you agree with me on these two. It´s great to be back, let´s hope for some luck tonight! :cheers Was looking at the over 5.5 for Frölunda-Mora. Mora having some defenders injured and Frölunda definetly seeking some revenge after the last game. Havent decided here yet though.. The odds is OK, about evens. :\

Södertälje @ 1.80
FT 2-2 :( Once again a draw... Södertälje shot 42 shots and only got two goals so Leksand owe this to their goalie. Good i stayed away from Djurgården since that match was a draw aswell. Frölunda only barely beat Mora 3-2 after 3 goals in power play.

Good to see you back though, its been a while since i saw your posts. As i wrote, Djurgården is maybe the most incosistent team in this league. My Södertälje pick felt really good but they couldnt even beat Leksand at home. My guess that we will see a new coach there very soon.

Also, Elitserien has been quite hard to predict lately, so I thought it would be better to sit out a few rounds. Glad I did that, a lot of surprise results(wrong surprises I mean), but tonight I wanted to have a go at DIF...silly me:lol

I feel for you rangers.. These kind of results are always harder, I believe Djurgården dominated this game as did Södertälje... But thats hockey for ya. Hope you will post more often in the rounds to come since i always appreciate your views :ok

Poprad have won 9 out of 16 at home, Zvolen have lost 9 out of 16 in their away games. Going by those stats, 2.00 seems decent value. Poprad have already lost against Zvolen on their home rink this season (0-2), but I think (hope) this is still a value bet.

Therefore the coach Christer Eriksson have decided to give rest to some of them. He said " Our team tonight will be mixed by juniors and reserves" the rest will offcause be 1. teamers. The fact that Esbjerg is already struggeling in the bottom of the table, and they face last two years champions, i cannot see how Esbjergy can avoid defeat here. Stake 8/10

Re: Euro Hockey Leagues 12 05/06 Just a Czech note - anyone willing to pile into reigning champs of PArdubice to bt lowly Vsetin should know that Pardubice are in the middle of deep crisis and can't score in a brothel atm (lost 4 out of last 5 too). The odds of app. 1.45 are but a joke:( A bad one at that;)

Re: Euro Hockey Leagues 12 05/06 Have been looking at Elitserien but its hard to predict yet again. Luleå and HV71, the teams that are in best form take eachother on. Linköping facing MODO at home and this one could go either way despite what the odds say. MODO has the capacity to shock here. Timrå looking weak at the moment and facing Färjestad at home. This is the one thats looking remotely interesting right now but i think i´ll pass.. Anyone else have any thoughts? Think i´ll sit back until thursday :)

Actually I was away for a long wine-tasting event spreading over the long weekend which took a lot from me and I was off till Monday which was when I realised you had hit a short cold streak and said you were taking a break. Sorry;)
