Advice please......

Hey folks, Well on tuesday i will be playing my first LIVE poker:nana :nana :nana It will however be semi-friendly as i have arranged a poker night at my place for some work mates. There will be 9 of us in total and i want some advice to make it an enjoyable evening. Of the 9 of us there is me:dude , 3 that have played a bit, 1 good player and 4 poker virgins. I have the poker table,chips and will be supplying the beer!!. The idea is to have about 4 games of texas hold em where we all throw a fiver each game into the pot. Winner takes all or split 1st/2nd and if so what % The "house rake" will be £1 each (one off advance payment) and this will be used to send my 12 year old son back and forth to the fridge! I will also need for the virgins a explanation of the rules, from memory i believe there is a good example in poker news i can print off. I also require a illustrated printable (for crappy printer) copy of the winning hands in order Any advice please to make it an enjoyable/profitable evening:ok Cheers gazza

Re: Advice please...... As you know I haven't a lot of experience of live Poker - so can't offer much advice. From comments I've seen before though - Tournament Director is the best management software out there, used in casinos, and FREE - I suggest you get a copy - http://www.thetournamentdirector.net/
