1st test kicks off in Chennai on Tuesday. They've not long played a 1 day series which India won easily 6-1 and thats an indicator of the difference between the 2 sides. On their India should win comfortably but the draws short and theres a reason for that and thats the weather. Cyclone Baaz is lingering nearby and if it hits Chennai then the match will be destined for a draw. A 1 day intl between India and SA was earmarked for this venue 10 days ago but not one ball got bowled due to the weather and the one before that was abandoned against NZ after 26 overs. The long term weather forecast is for scattered thunderstorms and this makes the draw the favourite option.
