Guest tankyman69
The one I fancy is DELPHIE QUEEN. I noted this one getting a very bad ride last time out and it got stuck in a pocket. It stayed on to finish 4th beaten only half a length. a clear run and it would have hacked up @ 20/1. There wont be any fancy prices like that with it being around 4/1 but just as long as it handles the faster ground which it should I think its a knocking bet. (Nap) 305 Haydock ~ BRINDISI 4th in a listed race and faces a simple task here in this class d race. A penalty kick but also a short price around 2/5 but thats 40% interest as long as it obliges. (Win) 340 Haydock ~ FLOWERDRUM is still relatively unexposed and surprised connections with how well it handled the faster ground when winning last time out easily. There could be a lot of improvement still to come from this one especially now the Haggas horses are showing better form. (4 of his 6 winners this season have come in the last week) (Win) 420 Newmarket ~ TIBER TIGER won here last year on the July course over todays trip and runs here of a 2lb lower mark than then. It showed signs of a return to form last time out when 4th @ Windsor. Trainer Nick Littmoden is going well with 3 winners from his last 7 runners. (EW) 455 Newmarket ~ SILENT HAWK is the one to beat here. Its 4th to Rehearsal reads well now after the 2nd and 3rd (Never Will & Credit) won races since. The step up in trip should also prove ideal. (Win) 620 Stratford ~ WAR TUNE came back to racing after a 20 month break and looked better than ever when winning last time out. Its raised just 4lb for that victory but with a nice break to freshen it up I think its open to more improvement. (Win) 720 Stratford ~ WHISPERED SECRET hacked up @ Bangor last time out of the same mark it appears on today. Now with the Pipe team Im sure this german import has more wins left in it starting today. (Win) Double: Brindisi & Silent Hawk Treble: Brindisi, Silent Hawk & Whispered Secret All the best Tankyman
Guest Khartoum
Re: fridays horses Tankyman69, Unlucky with Delphie Queen, I was at Newmarket today but saw this race, went close from seemingly bad draw? Shame I didn't back Tiber Tiger, I stood for Harrison Point when it went to 7/2. Nice write up. All the best, Khartoum.
