If the bookies have it right it should be straight forward for the favourites tonight. Ronnie takes on Jimmy White at a best price of 4/9 (Corals/Laddies) Never sure whether to trust Ronnie in these matches, and whilst Jimmy has proved that there is still some fo the old magic there his only victory in his 4 matches so far was against Steve Davis. Can see him taking a couple of frames off O'Sullivan but would want more than the 2/1 on offer for a 4-2 scoreline. Murphy v Davis - Murphy is 8/13 with betdirect, and as short as 4/9 with 365. The Nugget has won only 5 frames in his 3 matches so far and is propping up the table. Murphy won the lottery last Saturday (AKA Pot Black), is undefeated in his 3 matches so far, but has only won against Stephen Maguire. Murphy should see Davis off here and i don't think 5-1 (at 7/2 betdirect) is out of the question. Interesting - VCbet have Murphy at 4/7 without the draw, and 1/2 with the draw ???????????
