Chris 2005
With Tiger Woods missing the cut in his last tournament and with Vijay Singh missing the cut in his last two starts, now would seem a good time to take on these two market leaders. Sergio Garcia is in excellent form and would make plenty of appeal except for the fact he played in Europe last week and his recent busy schedule may now catch up with him. Jim Furyk is a likely candidate to win this tournament. He is in good form (see http://www.progolfform.com/Recent%20Form.htm). His recent schedule has been relatively light and he should be pretty fresh after a couple of weeks off. 16/1 represents good value. Tim Herron is also worthy of respect. He is arguably a much under-rated player given his high standard of form throughout 2005 (see http://www.progolfform.com/Ratings.htm) and the 50/1 on offer is a decent price. Note that the each way terms of 1/4 for 1,2,3,4 represents better value than normal in this 30 player field.
