Lots of games tonight so I'll be putting a few bet on throughout the day Ottawa @ Toronto: Third meeting for these two quality outfits, first two they have been inseperable, both with Sens winning the SO. the Leafs have slipped up a little of late but nothing major, currently 5-3-2 after a close loss to the Bruins on Thursday,the Sens have lost just once and wiped the memory of their first defeat against Carolina out with an OT win against a solid Habs team. However I'm going to take a gamble on the Leafs here. they were unlucky to lose the first game to Ottawa, conceding the tying goal with just a minute left on the clock in the third, and after weathering the strom in the first period, outplayed them for the next 2, amazingly holding the shot happy Sens to 1 shot in the entire 2nd period!! In the secong game, they rallied from 4-2 down only to again concede a tying goal in the third and lost the SO again. I think that if Toronto can get through the first with a tie or a lead, they can take this in regulation. Ottawa are a quality team no doubt but with Lindros scoring like it's 1996 again and McCabe putting up Orr-like numbers form the blueline, I'm gonna go with the more generous odds for TO. Re: NHL: Saturday: 29-10 NYR @ Montreal: Montreal are playing very nice hockey at the moment, I'm very impressed with their start. I'm gonna take them to beat the Rangers here. Jagr is the only bonafide scorer in this Rangers team, take him out and Straka has no-one to setup!! If you shut him down you shut the Rangers down, and I think Montreal will do just that tonight. Montreal has no real top stars, but everyone chips in and that's important, especially against gritty teams like the Rangers, I don't anticipate too many goals here either, I feel the Habs will take this 2-1 or 3-1, so I'll take the under too Taken: Montreal @ 2.00 Regulation win @ Betfair: 3 Pts Under 5.5 goals @ 2.30 @ Betfair: 2 Pts
