StevieDay1983 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 It was a monster week of points scoring in the Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League but after all the drama was said and done we had a new leader at the top of the table. Lakshuman Sharma's Fantasy Team earned a whopping 140 points for this round to storm back to the top spot. Their lead at the summit is 15 points which is the largest lead we've seen for a while but it's still not a huge amount. Several pretenders to first place are lurking in the shadows. In a very competitive week (thanks Mohamed Salah!), we saw some massive scores. Sharma's Fantasy Team did incredibly well to hit the 140-point mark but it still wasn't enough to earn the highest score of the week. That accolade went to @BARNSLEYCHOP's Scratattack team who scored 153 points. Superb effort given the highest score in the world for this round was 203 points. The decision to triple captain Salah, like a number of us, worked wonders. The fact that Scratattack managed to do it carrying three players in Lewis Hall, Morgan Rogers, and Alexander Isak who only got 4 points between them is even more admirable. At the other end of the scale, it was a disappointing week for 124th-placed The Tricksters. Managed by Greg Whitehouse, it's far from the lowest score we've seen but considering the points scored this week it's a poor performance from the team. The Liverpool duo of Virgil Van Dijk and Cody Gakpo stopped it from being an even more humiliating showing with the pair bringing in 13 points on their own! The deadline for transfers for the next round is 6:30 pm UK time on Friday 14th February. Best of luck! MinellaWorksop 1 Quote
