A very good (early) morning everyone.

Surprisingly poor efforts from the selections yesterday with only Chapel Green running a creditable second (collared at end), but Hashtag Boum was very poor. Still think the French selection was not helped by a jockey change (winning rider of previous two runs changed for some reason), and not a fan of Theo Chevillard from a jumps perspective. But again horse ran poorly, so hey ho it's on we go.

No option but to play at Catterick today if interest is wanted so here my selections with brief comments:

Catterick 2.38 KOMEDY KICKS @ 3/1 (general)  (cheeky rev. f/cst with Aquitaine Boy)

Catterick 2.38 AQUITAINE BOY e/w @ 10/1 (B365)  4 places  

Catterick 3.08 JUST GINO e/w @ 11/2 (WH / Unibet)  3 places

Catterick 4.08 DILLY's GUNNER e/w @ 5/1 (B365)  3 places

Summary:

2.38  Komedy Kicks must prove it gets every yard of trip and Aquitaine Boy is a 10 year old taking on probably much more progressive rivals, so both with possible negatives though ground should not be one of them. 

3.08  Just Gino no certainty whatsoever to back up latest fine effort (gave fair chunk of weight to Beat The Edge) but more importantly must prove it can act on much faster ground ??

4.08 As the 3.08 though do feel favourite is not super strong in this race and hopefully Dilly's Gunner can improve on a decent first effort at Wetherby. Again massive ground question mark needs to be answered with first effort on soft, so today's quicker ground could come as a shock for this inexperienced 4 year old.
