Providing of own accounts to sharp bettors

Recommended Posts

Have you ever encountered a sharp bettor wanting your betting accounts in exchange for money ?

Have you ever provided your account(s) to these bettors ? Alternatively, if a sharps bettor approached you, would you be willing to give him your account in exchange for a financial contribution ?

Please discuss your pros and cons.

No, they wouldn't be very sharp if they were willing to pay money to use most of my accounts unfortunately.

No, if anything I'd be looking for some "blunts" to give me access to their accounts.

Legality (or, at least, issues with T&Cs). Finding anyone with "clean" accounts who I trusted, the practicalities of who puts the bets on. There are probably 3 firms who it would be theoretically worthwhile for me to pay for the use of a clean account with but the idea doesn't appeal to me on various grounds. And, of course, brings us back to the point that we shouldn't have to resort to such things just to get a modest "recreational" sized bet on.

I recently had the "brilliant" idea that firms could, at the point where they would currently apply limits, offer to let you keep a clean account for, say £50 or £100 per month. It would be the equivalent of a "privilege" account where the "privilege" is that the bookies act like a bookie and don't limit you at the first sign of you not being a muppet!
