Instead of reaching for the headgear they’ve booked zac purton, golden link hasn’t won for a while but was just touched off latest…. Whizz kid has the inside stall while progressive kurpany will have to break rank or be held up from stall 9.Majestic star runs from stall six and has not been seen since a staying on second over six furlongs has to be of huge interest trying the minimum for the first time and with top jockey ANDREA ATZENI riding makes each way appeal. * This looks a very classy affair and two other horses worth a mention from a future perspective are nervous witness having first run of the season and season’s wit who steps up in class here. Seasons wit under Zac purton destroyed this field up with the pace along with kurpany shared the early work before pulling away in the final 200 different class eased down to finish 3.5 lengths clear. Opened up here off 73 and had to fall thirty pounds to land breakthrough win latest up half a stone here and priced accordingly. Out of Dark Angel has been hit hard with a seven pounds rise but rated 96 when winning at Newmarket under Jamie Spenser may 2021. Dazzling fellow won well last time after a drop down to career low. Handled by Hugh Bowman last run and the booking of the champion jockey Zac Purton is significant and he is on a five timer today. Sporting Sam Posted October 29, 2023 Author Share Posted October 29, 2023 Happy valley 0950 big red june planet both win pegasus general each way andrea atzeni I highlighted his exploits yesterday to pick out Ballymount boy and he’s been seen to good effect at today's meeting and he is fast becoming the ‘punters pal’ on the rock. is on a hat trick this morning and is getting some great bookings and it would be no suprise if he can place the general here. June plant is also on a three timer and is dangerous up in grade remaining unexposed here. Big red has suggested a win is not far away and is drawn to win. Last win in July ( 150/1) has seen this horse a total of 97 lengths in areas but last win was preceeded by a run too bad to be true could be that improvement is due soon according to Murphy’s lore and the law of aforementioned saint . BEAUTYVERSE Win beautyverse has not won since Juvenile debut off a mark of 82 but the horse he beat is now rated 95 and thus runner put up a career best last time out in a higher grade when finishing second. Had not placed since winning and runs off a career low mark down in class. A win is imminent and everything looks to be in place today. Best caught today and unlikely to get a better opportunity than here in this company. There has to be a reason for sliding down from a group winner but the placing signals better times ahead of not today…. ”””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””” I’ve given up posting in two places at once it is impossible unless you do the race reading hours beforehand. I’ve been to war overnight and backed Equinox in this morning’s Japan cup and the call on the racing forum was to take the odds on, but also to take the 7/4 on the distance of 3+lengths winning margin. He had a suicidal fraction to race after and turned on the afterburners in the home straight to win in sensational style. He had the assistance of stall 2 and the position did him no harm at all. Had he been forced to pace set after a record breaking run just a month ago their may have been a less convincing outcome but the draw was a huge help as was the pace. Front running style suits this horse and if allowed any kind of lead on this track will be going away again at the end. Has only had to regain lead at the start of this run and has been smooth passage ever since and won going away last time so all depends on what side of the bed jockey has got out of today. beauty crescent second selection yet to win in Hong Kong but won a listed stakes race for Ger Lyon’s in Ireland last September. wings of war mill reef Newbury duty free listed winner two years ago off triple figure ratings. Always going to need run today on debut but throw in at a realistic level and worth looking out for to see how much is needed in future to score in this grade. Ex cornman ( Ger Lyon’s) colourful Barron. SHA TIN 0810 Invincible sage win highly progressive ( how many times have we heard that?) but has stepped up to the plate dropped to the minimum distance and has found plenty both times the last two runs here to win cosily. Up in grade here and runs minus Hugh Bowman. Zac Purton a very able replacement and this horse brought up trainers 600 th winner last time. Invincible sage has now won three on the bounce but conditions here will test this progressive sort. Victor the winner is proven group vlsss but drops to the minimum for the first time. a watching brief in a race where invincible sage may just edge out the classy victor the winner. Hugh Bowman battling back from serious injury is regaining strength in the saddle and rides a full book tonight.
