In recent years, they have only ever met once. Monza was defeated 1-0 at the time by Inter. The result of the match will probably be 1-0 again. Thanks to Napoli's first defeat in the Italian top flight, Rossoneri have decreased the gap to only five points. At least three goals per match were seen in 5 of the last six meetings in which Milan has taken part. Opposition teams scored 5 of them in these games, whereas Milan managed a tally of 11. Regarding the availability issues, Stefano Pioli will have quite a few. Divock Origi (Hamstring Injury), Junior Messias (Muscle Fatigue), Rade Krunic (Muscle Fatigue), Mike Maignan (Disrupted Calf Muscle), Ante Rebic (Tear in the abductor muscle), Zlatan Ibrahimović (Knee Surgery), Fodé Ballo-Touré (Acromioclavicular Separation) and Alessandro Florenzi (Hamstring Injury) will not be taking part for Milan on Sunday evening.
