StevieDay1983 Posted October 21, 2022 Share Posted October 21, 2022 The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League saw the top two hold their lead over the chasing pack with @Wanderlust's To Haaland Back remaining on top spot and @StevenKing's warning hazchem sat just behind in 2nd place after the midweek matches. It was a very low scoring round with a lot of people restricted due to Arsenal versus Manchester City being postponed because of Arsenal's re-arranged Europa League tie with PSV. The average points tally was just 39 points so anyone in the 40 points and above region had done very well. Congratulations to Fin Williams and his Outsource the goals team who bagged the highest score of the round with a 66 points haul. His decision to bench the trio of Phil Foden, Gabriel Jesus, and William Saliba allowed him to maximise his 11 starting players with Miguel Almiron delivering the goods as his automated captain (due to being vice captain and Foden not playing). So a little bit of luck there but he can't be faulted for it. The shame award for the week goes to two teams who share the spoils after only managing to earn 21 points this round. @Procalc's Pipers Picks and Terry Barker's Short Positioning must now go out into the street and gives themselves 50 lashings for such a low score. What they lash themselves with is totally up to them. It could be a cat of nine tails (if they're into that!) or it could be a cold flannel! The deadline for the next round of games is 11am BST on Saturday morning so get your changes in before then! We go again!
