The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League is reaching new levels of intensity this week as we enter the final round of games for the month of August. @Diwopa has taken the lead at the top of the table with his reusTM side. However, he is closely followed by four teams who are within 7 points. It doesn't look like a number of them have confirmed their usernames on the forum though so unless they do before the end of this round they won't be eligible to win the monthly prize!

Well played to Allan Woods and his Steep learning curve side who became the first team to breach the 100 points mark in a single week to take the highest score this round. He benefited from having Erling Haaland as captain and three Liverpool players (that weren't Mohamed Salah!) in his team. Crazy that he hit such a high score with five of his players scoring 2 points or below!

Commiserations and public shame must be afforded to Brendan Booth and his action plus united team who could only muster 32 points this week. Had Reece James and William Saliba not delivered 7 points each for him it could have been even worse!
