Rugby League: Super League Round 26

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys.... Any thoughts on the rest of this weeks' Super League games London Broncos v Huddersfield Leigh v St Helens Warrington v Salford Wakefield v Widnes No bet for me in tonight's game (London v Huddersfield), London should win on home soil but Huddersfield have been playing v well of late. Could be tempted to back the Wolves to beat Salford (-14).... :loon More thoughts later:loon

Re: Rugby League: Super League Round 26 Warrington vs Salford Salford have only won twice on the road in this year's Super League, not surprisingly against bottom sides Leigh and Widnes, along their way, they have only notched up a total of 481pts (av. 19pts per game) in Super League, only worsened by Leigh (16pts per game). Both sides have had a good rest with the Challenge Cup Final, but at Round 26, Salford's season is virtually over, they cannot make the playoffs but have now, more importantly, escaped a relegation battle with Widnes & co. They lie in no-man's-land in 9th position, with a poor attack, mediocre defence and a dead-rubber approach to this game, I see -14pts for Warrington as a steal. Salford's coach Karl Harrison will surely fire up his guys, the very best he can, for tomorrow's game but himself, as well as his squad, will surely have their minds set on the winter break and Super League XI. Warrington fans, players & staff are all buzzing with anticipation of A Johns' arrival from the NRL this month, everyone is eager to impress. With a chance at third spot in the league up for graps, be rest assured Warrington will be going all out attack in this one. Hulls defeat to Bradford means Warrington can re-take 4th spot tomorrow, leaving them only 1pt behind the Bulls. A good win for Warrington (by around 30pts) is vital for points difference (Current pts difference Bradford +322 , Hull +98 & Warrington +49). Salford visited Warrington in June and were soundly beaten 48-14 (by 34pts), I cannot see past a similar size victory for the Wire this weekend!! Recommendation Warrington -14 @ betdirect, stan james or hills 1.90 (8/10) :nana come on the wire!!!:nana
