There has been plenty of money this evening for Flashing Glance and he is very much respected,but 12 stone 2 pounds is a lot to carry and i have a preference for SPARKLEANDSHINE. Harry Whittington's six year is very much the interesting one here,having finished 4th in listed company at Ascot before disappointing when favourite at Huntingdon last time.Has his first run for his new stable today.

Fergal O'Brien's nine year old filly deserves a change of luck following seconds in all of her last three outings at Huntingdon, Ffos Las, and last time at Market Rasen. She won't have many easier opportunities to score..

Previously looking a tad exposed,ARDERA CROSS came back to life following wind surgery/change of stable/ and tongue tie to finish a narrow 3rd of 17 in a competitive handicap at Huntingdon last month. Under a power packed Skelton ride,the selection only gave way close home(beaten less than a length) having looked the likely winner two out. Given that was the geldings first run for 111 days,the cobwebs will have been blown away now.
