Bamford
Our annual trip to Waialae for the Sony Open. After the star studded affair last week at Kapalua we move onto the first full-field event on the PGA Tour in 2018. The tournament takes place on a pretty non-descript par 70, which the top guys can take apart again with ease, as there is no wind forecast. Greens are small, with TifDwarf Bermudagrass greens, which many cannot get on with. It's all important here to hit as many greens as possible and naturally make as many putts as possible. Pure ball-strikers will contend, but eventually a natural putter in ball-striking form will get the job done. I'm onside with Leishman (16/1), Harman (20/1), Smith (40/1) and SW Kim 60/1). Best of luck.
