Guest raylin47
I have been looking at Betfair place odds in horse racing and find that although some odds are excellent others are extremely low especially in 8 to ten horse races Example Riley Boy at Leicester 9:15 Win odds 6.4 Place odds only 1.6 Surely the place odds should be closer to 2.2 if not more. Could this fact give us an edge over the bookies or have I had too much to drink:beer ie bet e/w bookmaker 100 at 6.00 assuming bookies do not give the same odds as betfair Lay place 210 at 1.6 If horse wins profit 625-126 =499 If horse placed loss = -100 -126 125= -101 If loss free bet ie outlay of 200 with bookie minus 210-commission Could this be betting opportunity? would have lost 101 on Riley Boy regards ray
