spreadman
No expert, by any means, on F1 racing, but, as ever, on the look out for a chance to get one over the spread companies......I have just received a BBC e-mail that suggests there may be penalties, (points deductions?), for the teams that pulled out of the USGP. Whilst this may not be resolved until September, I thought that a sell of the non participating constructor's points on the spreads in the constructor's points market, may prove to be pertinent and profitable. I am not sure, but I suppose that, in a way, the abstaining teams have already been 'penalised' by losing out on potential constructor's points, by not even taking part in the race, if this was the case. Any views?
Tulenos
Re: Grand Prix constructors points deductions? What I gathered, the most likely outcome is hitting the teams in question in the pocket even more, not penalising them. As you've already suggested, they "penalised" themselves by not taking part in the race (but the circumstances didn't allow them to do so which was discussed here some time ago. You may sell, but it's a bit too risky now as I suspect the books have already reacted (haven't checked yet tho).
spreadman
Re: Grand Prix constructors points deductions? Cheers, Mr. T, wise words, it's a rare day when you can get one over the spread companies, but we live in hope. :ok

It's up to the folk in Indianapolis whether theyed allow a F1 race in October.
